Alpha Academy continues to strive for excellence through best teaching practices and the relationship building activities that are naturally built into the curriculum. For the past 32 years, we have committed to the task of building up future leaders and community members and not just excellent test takers. Our Services

AP Prep

This program is designed to help both future and current high school students excel in the Advance Placement Exams through weekly mock exams, class reviews, and sessions. Encompassing subjects in 6 categories: English, Science, History, Psychology, Business, and Language, students will be taught all the fundamentals that are necessary for them to succeed in both the AP exams and future college courses.

SAT Prep

MegaPrep

This class is recommended for all high school students that offers an in-depth overview of the SAT Test. Students will meet two times a week for two-hour sessions and a three hour practice test session, in addition to taking weekly vocabulary tests and the remedial SAT test. The class requires students to put in on average 10 to 15 additional hours of outside classroom study time.

MegaCourse

MegaCourse is the most intensive course that we offer in our SAT program. Students in this program are required to commit most of their summer break to excel in the SATs. Students will meet five times a week for four-hour sessions and three hour practice tests, in addition to taking daily vocabulary test and completing two weekly grammar tests. By completing this eight week program, students will have memorized more than 3500 SAT Essential Vocabulary words and mastered all three sections of the SATs: Critical Reading, Writing and Language, and Mathematics (Arithmetic to Algebra 2).

Alpha Junior

Alpha Junior aims to provide students with an environment where they can build a solid foundation for future success in both their academic and personal lives. Our curriculum will help students form solid study habits as well as identify and understand the long-term value of education. With an all-encompassing approach, Junior Alpha is confident in its ability to help nurture creative-minded, independent and diligent individuals.

Alpha Academy is not just a place for SAT preparation. Students learn to reflect on their lives and the life around them to become greater individuals. Through Mr. Kim’s influence, I have undergone a beneficial change from an indolent, indifferent boy to a matured, responsible man. My SAT score has improved 800 points, and it is still improving.
